While in BPI, a total fixed fee of $29 will be collected no matter the amount of deposit (based on several posts in this subreddit). Transfer fees for $660 and above starts at $29.04 in Wise and gets higher as you up your deposit. If you plan on depositing $660 and above, better use BPI direct wire transfer than WISE. Although, after trying out different amounts from 10 to 10,000 USD and comparing the fees to the longer route, I discovered that the fees are surprisingly similar on both routes after all steps considered. The fee is variable in relation to the amount. However, I'd rather choose the SHORTER route (almost similar fees in total): SEND USD via INTERNATIONAL tab directly to your local bank, GCash, or PayMaya. But I suppose it changes in proportion to the exchange rate. During the time of my trial withdrawal, the PHP 40.08 fee did not change every time I enter a different amount. The fees I indicated above are for the LONGER route: CONVERT first the USD amount into your PHP Wise account (0.5371% fee), then SEND PHP to a local bank, GCash, or PayMaya (PHP 40.08 fixed fee). Both had almost similar fees if you total everything, about +/- PHP 5 in difference (so negligible). There are 2 routes to withdraw using Wise: short and long route. I tried Wise to GCash as well, received the funds in less than 10 minutes. TDA to Wise took 1 to 2 working days to reflect via ACH. Once activated, you can freely transfer to and from Wise. First, you need to enroll your Wise USD Account into your TDA account as a "connection". also, it wasn't deducted from my Wise account yet. Although the funds for Wise to TDA transfer did reflect immediately, its tagged as UNCLEARED, meaning it CAN be traded now but CAN'T be withdrawn yet for about a week. $522 was deducted instantly from my BDO PHP account using 49.7759 as the selling exchange rate.Īll transfers stated above were all instant (during TDA office hours). For withdrawals below $5720, route the transfer through WISE otherwise, use TDA wire transfer to local bank.įirstly, I'm writing this summary as my way of paying it forward to the community for providing free learnings and tips. The results suggest that TDA can be used as a water-saturated fill material without risking immediate or long-term degradation of water quality for receiving water bodies.TLDR: For below $660 deposits, use WISE to fund your TDA account to get cheaper fees if above, use BPI wire transfer. The field experiment suggested that a TDA-soil system provides removal of many constituents from urban stormwater runoff, including acetone, cadmium, chemically oxidizable organic compounds, iron, lead, manganese, MIBK, oil and grease, phosphate, and zinc. A dramatic decrease in release rate over time was observed for all constituents under all water exposure conditions. The laboratory experiment suggested that benzene, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), cadmium, zinc, iron, manganese, total phosphate, and total suspended solids leach from TDA and dissolved oxygen is altered by TDA. A laboratory and field experiment were conducted to provide insight into both controlled and field settings. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the rate that potential water quality contaminants leach from TDA as a function of time. For many of its intended civil engineering applications, tire-derived aggregate (TDA) comes into contact with water and may leach organic and inorganic compounds.
